Once you have decided on the time of day that you are going to post, then try to post consistently in this time range for a few weeks or days. You should not only notice a good pattern in your readers, but in your traffic. When you are posting on a regular basis, at a set hour, then your readers know that when the can expect to read new stuff.

AS you develop a pattern, people will start to notice it and expect you to stick to it as though you would stick to any other sort of schedule. Though it may seem a bit silly, your readers are depending on you to post and they will be upset when there isnt anything new or you havent posted anything lately. Dont let them get disappointed.

You would be surprised at how consistency can really help you out, especially with your blog. If you are someone that others can depend on, it will give off a good image of you and your site as well.
