Investing in shares Investing As we grow up we never think about how we would want to make money. Yes, we fantasize about being a fireman, we fantasize about being a ballerina or an astronaut or even a mermaid. But we really do not think that we need to make money and that we need to take care of a family. All we wonder about is the fantastic jobs we see at the movies. However, as we grow older we realise that we do need to make money, because we start thinking about and understand the value of a dollar. We look back in the old days and realise how when we were younger things cost a few cents but these days they cost a few dollars.
